Student Batching & Practical Learning Model

To ensure that students receive meaningful hands-on experience, practical activities should be organized in manageable groups.

  • Students should be divided into appropriate batches.
  • Each batch should receive direct practical exposure.
  • Science teachers should participate in Science activities.
  • ICT teachers should participate in ICT and technology activities.
  • Teachers should observe the practical methodology for possible continuation in regular lessons.
  • Activities should be documented for school records and website publication where appropriate.

School Management System Implementation

The School Management System should not be treated as a one-time training activity. The objective is to move from training to consistent practical use across the school.

1. Training Teachers understand the system and its functions.
2. Practice Teachers begin using the system in their daily responsibilities.
3. Monitoring Management checks usage and identifies challenges.
4. Support Teachers receive assistance where required.
5. Full Adoption The system becomes part of normal school administration.

Teacher Development

Teacher development will remain a continuous priority throughout the 15-week period.

  • Regular professional discussions with teachers.
  • Classroom observation and constructive feedback.
  • Support for lesson planning.
  • Encouragement of practical and learner-centred teaching.
  • Digital skills development.
  • Sharing of effective teaching strategies.
  • Support for teachers experiencing specific classroom challenges.
  • Encouragement of collaboration among teachers.

Academic Monitoring

Academic performance should be monitored continuously rather than waiting until the end of the term.

  • Review curriculum coverage.
  • Monitor lesson delivery.
  • Review assessment practices.
  • Identify learning gaps early.
  • Support students requiring intervention.
  • Recognize high-performing students.
  • Monitor progress after intervention.
  • Use available academic information to guide management decisions.

Student Development

Beyond academic performance, the school should create opportunities for students to develop practical, technological, creative and leadership abilities.

  • Practical Science activities.
  • Computing and ICT activities.
  • Robotics and technology exposure.
  • Artificial Intelligence awareness.
  • Problem-solving activities.
  • Innovation and creativity.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Responsible use of technology.

Student Welfare & School Environment

A strong academic environment requires a safe, supportive and well-managed school environment.

  • Monitor student attendance.
  • Monitor student discipline.
  • Identify recurring welfare concerns.
  • Encourage respectful relationships between students and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
  • Ensure student concerns are appropriately escalated.

  • Provide appropriate updates on student progress.
  • Encourage parent participation in school activities.
  • Listen to parent concerns and feedback.
  • Strengthen collaboration between home and school.

School Website & Digital Presence

The school website should increasingly serve as a platform for communicating the school's activities, achievements and programmes.

  • Publish selected academic and practical activities.
  • Highlight STEM, ICT, Robotics and AI activities.
  • Publish school events and important notices.
  • Present appropriate photographs and activity reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date school information.
  • Use the website to strengthen the school's public visibility.

Key Performance Indicators

Progress should be assessed using practical indicators rather than relying only on general observations.

Student Welfare Monitoring of attendance, discipline and student welfare concerns.
Parent Engagement Improved communication and collaboration with parents and guardians.
Institutional Improvement Progress in administration, documentation, digital systems and school organization.

Director's Monthly Review

At the end of each month, the Director and relevant members of management should review progress and determine the next priorities.

Review Period Key Areas Management Focus
September 2026 Teacher training, School Management System, curriculum review and first practical workshop. Establish systems, identify gaps and begin implementation.
October 2026 Teacher development, ICT integration and second practical STEM/Robotics/AI activities. Strengthen implementation and monitor progress.
November 2026 Student welfare, parent engagement, academic intervention and third practical learning cycle. Address gaps and strengthen student outcomes.
December 2026 Administration, institutional review, evaluation and next-phase planning. Consolidate achievements and prepare the next phase.

Leadership Approach

The Director's role should go beyond administrative supervision. Effective school leadership requires visibility, monitoring, communication, support and continuous improvement.

The Director should work closely with teachers, administrative staff, students and parents to understand challenges, identify opportunities and ensure that agreed actions are implemented.

The emphasis should be on practical implementation, measurable improvement and building systems that can continue beyond the 15-week period.

Long-Term Direction

The 15-week Action Plan is intended to establish a stronger foundation for the continued development of Modern Brains Academy.

The long-term objective is to build a school environment where teachers are supported, students are actively engaged in learning, technology is effectively integrated, practical STEM activities are sustained and school administration is increasingly organized and data-informed.

The September–December 2026 period should therefore be viewed as the beginning of a continuous school improvement process, rather than a standalone programme.

Final Management Note

Successful implementation of this Action Plan will depend on consistent follow-up, collaboration among staff, timely decision-making and the willingness to review and improve existing practices.

The Director and school leadership should use this plan as a practical working document and adjust specific activities when necessary based on the school's needs, available resources and emerging priorities.
